The Scottish Licensed Trade Association’s Colin Wilkinson, along with president John Shearer, immediate past-president Marshall Bain and press and media spokesperson Paul Waterson joined representatives from the home nations and the Republic of Ireland at the 71st meeting of the United Kingdom & Ireland Licensed Trade Association earlier this month.
Hosted by Hospitality Ulster and held in the famous Bushmills Inn in County Antrim, brought together representatives from Hospitality Ulster, the Vintners Federation of Ireland, the Federation of Licensed Victuallers Associations (England), Hospitality UK and the SLTA.
“These bi-annual meetings are a very important networking opportunity where the activities and problems experienced by the licensed trade in Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are discussed and delegates can exchange information on the concerns faced by the hospitality industry in their home countries,” Colin explained.
