The Scottish Government has today published updated guidance on 2m to 1m exemptionsfor the hospitality industry
On 2nd July the First Minister announced that exemptions would be permitted for public transport, retail and hospitality sectors to allow a move from 2m to 1m physical distancing. This is conditional on appropriate additional mitigating measures being implemented to reduce the elevated risks associated with a 1m distance as opposed to 2m. The updated guidance for the 2m to 1m physical distancing exemption for the hospitality sector has now been published. This specific guidance sits within the existing overall sector guidance for tourism and hospitality, however, the section on ‘exemption to 1m for hospitality’, can be accessed directly here.
