A new bi-monthly e-publication highlighting Tourism Scotland 2020 (TS2020) – the Scottish Tourism Alliance’s national tourism strategy – has been launched.
Caroline Warburton, national strategy delivery co-ordinator at the STA, commented: “Through our role as champions of the national tourism strategy, we are aware of just how many excellent initiatives are bringing the strategy to life, be it through training, product development, marketing, investment or collaboration.
“We also know that hundreds of people are involved with their own part of the delivery too.”
The TS2020 update is aimed at those involved in developing and delivering projects on behalf of the industry, helping to create the right conditions for tourism to grow. It will showcase some of the initiatives, large and small, with each edition focused on a different strategic priority. The first edition focuses on “digital” and can be read online here.
“We want to highlight what’s happening and also encourage more take-up of these initiatives and resources, and inspire others to do similar and work together,” said Caroline.
